30.5.03 ( 30.5.03 ) Ally So, strange week in work. And long week at work also. It was just strange cos my friend Darren just out of the blue said to me "So when are we going then Ally?" Now, this threw me a bit. I mean, we are good friends, but in the kinda way that comfortable silences take precedence over the conversation. Meaning, we don't talk all that often, but when we do it's one of those satisfying conversations. So I asked "Going where?" He replies "To see Matrix Reloaded?" Well, smack me in the face with a herring! I was just a little shocked! Bizarre! So, H came over on Monday night. We had a laugh after all that was needed to be sorted out was sorted out, I've never had so much entertainment out of the word trucker..... and no, it wasn't even rhyming slang! We enjoyed alcohol and Spiderman, but as I had to be in work the next day, and Kayte was in uni, the night was called short just before midnight. Heeeeeeeeeee, going to see Go West tomorrow night!!! I had thought it was a bit of a lost cause, seeing as the tickets still haven't arrived. I've been calling the ticket place all week trying to get a straight answer, but to no avail. I spoke to them today only to find out that the tickets had been sent out on 8 April. Well, was I pissed, seeing as I spoke to someone yesterday who just said that the tickets had been posted to me. They've told me they are going to duplicate the tickets and I'll have to pick them up from the venue tomorrow. Grrrrrr. This is me, signing off. All excited. #
